You can always use our website without entering any personal data. The user profiles will not be matched with the data of the bearer of the pseudonym No pseudonym user profiles are generated.

Our website offers you various functions which collect, process and save personal data when used. The following explains what happens to this data:   

  • Contact form(s):
    The information entered into our contact form will only be used to process enquiries that are received via the contact form. After enquiries have been processed, the collected data will be deleted immediately, unless there are other statutory archiving deadlines. 


  • Login area:
    You have the opportunity of using a separate login area on our website. If you have forgotten your password or use name for this area, it is possible to send this data to you again after you have entered your contact data again (e-mail address). We will only collect, save and process any user data generated through the login area to combat misuse, correct errors or maintain functionality. The data will not be used for any other purposes not will it be forwarded to third parties. Any data collected by the 'User name or password' function will only be used to resend forgotten access data.
     
  • Newsletter:
    The data recorded in the login mask of our newsletter will only be used to send the newsletter that contains all information about our work. After the log-in, we will send a confirmation e-mail with a link that you need to click to complete the registration process for our newsletter (double-opt-in). The newsletter subscription can be unsubscribed at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link. We will delete your data within six months after you have logged in. Likewise, we will delete your data within six months even if the login process was not completed.

For a credit rating, we send personal data and use the information we receive about the statistical probability of a payment default. The credit rating information may contain probability values (score values) calculated based on scientifically recognised mathematical-statistical procedures. Using a number of markers, for instance income, address data, career, marital status and previous payment behaviour, the future payment default risk of the customer can be estimated. The result is presented as a number (a so-called score). This information collected in this way forms the basis for our decision about the justification, execution or termination of the contractual relationship.

However, the selection of one of the payment options does not depend on this kind of information.

 

5. Forwarding of data / purpose limitation
We only forward personal data to third parties, if necessary to satisfy our contract obligations, in particular to process a concluded contract. No personal data is forwarded to third parties unless it is necessary to fulfil the stated contract and payment processing obligations.

Please be aware that our mail system automatically archives emails. All incoming and outgoing emails are digitally archived in an audit-proof manner in order to comply with tax law (GoBD §§ 146, 147 of the tax code AO ) and commercial law. They can be stored for a period of up to ten years. One exception ar eall e-mails sent to karriere@bartscher.de. If you have any further questions regarding our digital archiving procedures please contact our data protection supervisor. Please also be aware that we only accept job applications in PDF format. Our security system does not permit zipped files (WinZip, WinRAR, 7Zip, etc.). Your application documents will not be encrypted. We assume that we are also permitted to answer any job application emails without using encryption. If this is not the case please inform us of this by email when you submit your application. We cannot be held responsible for any unauthorized third party viewing of your documents that may occur during the transmission of unencrypted emails.
