Anton Bartscher opens a retail outlet in Geseke, laying the foundations for a strong brand.

1959

Start of Germany-wide sales for catering equipment. Bartscher establishes itself as a reliable partner for catering technology.

1971

Construction of a new warehouse in Geseke - more structure for efficient warehousing and optimised fast material flows. Bartscher becomes a major B2B supplier.

Further expansion necessitates a move to Salzkotten and the planning of a new production site - an important step towards the future.

Start of our project department. Our project team guarantees the highest level of consulting and problem-solving expertise: because a well-planned kitchen concept for the right workflows, combined with technology that meets your needs, makes all the difference.

Launch of our patented Hi-Light-Lift salamander, the Bartscher brand enters the world of award-winning catering.

The company continues to grow: construction of a new warehouse with an integrated showroom and training rooms, as well as expansion of the site with additional office space - a place that is created for practical and customer needs.

Start of the installation of our first modules of our state-of-the-art paternoster system - the guarantee for efficient spare parts supply.

2014

Conversion of the ERP system to SAP and expansion of the export shipping areas - digitalisation and globalisation are picking up speed. Today, Bartscher has its own presence in all relevant core markets. We export to over 85 countries and are represented worldwide with 9 sales offices in Europe, Asia and MENA.

Further major investments in product development and logistics. Introduction of our newly developed MDI control unit, which combines intuitive toggle operation with digital intelligence. Expansion of our logistics space to over 16,500 m², with approx. 18,000 pallet spaces - faster delivery processes for satisfied customers.

Expansion of the training area and showroom with a modern show kitchen - technology you can touch and try out.

Bartscher continues to grow internationally: opening of our external warehouse in Spain - closer to the customer, faster service.
